A home away from home
Through the formative years that shape everything after, our littlest learners are met with patience, play and the freedom to discover at their own pace.
Our Approach
“Learning by Doing”
Scholars' Home, as the name suggests, is a home away from home for our youngest children. The play-way method of 'Learning by Doing' lets them learn at their own pace, in an atmosphere built entirely around them — never rushed, never tested before they are ready.
The emphasis is on self-confidence and the ability to express freely in English. Children are encouraged to form their own ideas and share them aloud, while teachers bring lessons to life with flash cards, picture charts, blocks, puzzles, finger and hand puppets, worksheets and beads — so learning feels like play, never work.
Children explore through songs, recitation, a structured phonics programme, creative projects, storytelling, role-play, dance, music, art and craft, games, drawing and painting. Picnics and field trips open up the world beyond the gate — and prepare each child for a gentle, confident step into the Primary years.

What This Stage Builds
The specifics, not the slogans
Learning You Can Hold
Flash cards, picture charts, blocks, puzzles, finger and hand puppets, worksheets and beads — concepts a small child can touch, turn over and understand.
A Doorway for Every Child
Songs, phonics, storytelling, role-play, dance, music, art and craft, drawing and painting — many different ways in, because no two children learn alike.
Confidence & English
Children are encouraged to create their own ideas and express them aloud, building the quiet self-confidence that carries them through every year that follows.
